Dassault Falcon Jet-Wilmington Receives AMT Diamond Award

Second Year In A Row

For the second consecutive year, Dassault Falcon Jet-Wilmington has been awarded the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Diamond Certificate of Excellence from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Diamond Certificate of Excellence is the highest of five awards a company can receive for its dedication to maintenance training.

A company's eligibility for one of the five Certificates of Excellence is based on the percentage of the total number of eligible employees who received AMT awards during the calendar year. At least 25 percent of an organization's maintenance personnel must pass continuous specialized training in numerous aircraft systems and FAA rules and regulations over a one year period.

"Our maintenance technicians are dedicated masters of their craft and this award proves it," said Todd McGahey, Vice President and General Manager of Dassault Falcon Jet - Wilmington. "We are proud of each of them and applaud their efforts to advance their skills. This effort ultimately leads to safe, reliable aircraft operations for our customers."

The AMT program recognizes individual technicians and employers with Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby and Diamond Awards. The program was founded in 1991 by the FAA as an incentive program to encourage participation in initial and recurrent maintenance training courses.
