MultiGP Drone Racing Announces Rotor Riot International Open

Entire Rotor Riot Team Will Be On Hand Through The Entire Event

The two largest names in the FPV culture are joining forces to provide a festival of epic proportions! MultiGP and Rotor Riot are combining forces to make sure the 2017 International Open is an event that gets chiseled in FPV history. It does not get much better than this. Pilots will get a chance to meet, hang out, and fly with the guys they subscribe to on YouTube.

Want to race Tommy “UmmaGawd” Tibajia? Want to fly with Drew “LeDrib” Camden? This is your chance! Ever want to ask Steele Davis about why he flies a certain component? This is your chance! The Rotor Riot Team will be there for the entire event. MultiGP says this inaugural Rotor Riot themed version of the MultiGP International Open is your best opportunity to catch all the pilots you follow in a fun and social setting. You will also have to chance to meet a legend in the model aviation community, Chad Kapper.  From Flite Test to Rotor Riot, Chad has been a driving force in our hobbies and in our sport.

“This is the event you’ll want to miss work for; put in for your vacation time now,” said Chris Thomas, MultiGP’s founder. “We are committed to doing the impossible; eight different FPV courses running all at the same time, with a possibility of 64 pilots in the air at once!”

The MultiGP International Open is promising five days of pure FPV racing action. Other attractions include a crash course gauntlet, wing racing and a vendor presence with companies showing off their latest and greatest. Both Chris Thomas and Joe Scully will be in attendance at the event, and will be making appearances at all of the unique and challenging competitions.

The MultiGP International Open is on track to be the most popular annual FPV event, with eight unique flying fields, the Rotor Riot Team, epic moments, good friends, great times, and some serious competition. Discounted Early Bird tickets are available NOW through July 1st so sign up today to save some money AND get entered in a giveaway.

The event will be held August 9-13 in Muncie, IN.
