Mountain Aviation Acquired By Private Investors

Company Plans To Continue To Focus On Regional Travel

Broomfield, CO-based Mountain Aviation has been acquired by a private investment group seeking to develop the company's strong position in the turboprop and jet charter market. With the close of this acquisition, Mountain intends to maintain its position in the Rocky Mountain region while growing its customer base and core markets.

"For more than 20 years, Mountain Aviation has provided unrivaled safety, service and value to discerning clients seeking aircraft charter, management, maintenance, sales and acquisition services," said Bjelkevig. "I am very pleased that our company's new ownership team is focused on providing unsurpassed value to our core Rocky Mountain client group. I am also delighted to continue serving as President, and I look forward to working closely with our new ownership group."

Cam Kenyon, previously the EVP Operations at WestJet Airlines in Calgary and the President of Lynx Aviation in Denver, has been appointed as the company's Executive Director and will be working closely with the company's management and ownership teams. "It is an honor to become associated with Mountain Aviation and the outstanding aviation company that Rich and his team of professionals have built over the last 21 years," Kenyon said.

The company will continue to focus primarily on its existing Rocky Mountain Region aviation clients, and will also seek to provide additional aviation services to the oil and gas industry and government services markets. Mountain Aviation's worldwide operating authority and significant experience operating in challenging environments provide a strong foundation for expanded capabilities in these markets.
