Bombardier To Deliver Two Global 5000 Aircraft To Middle Eastern Customers

Sale Further Expands ExecuJet-Operated Fleet

Bombardier has marked the upcoming delivery of two new entry-long range Global 5000 aircraft to be operated by longstanding partner and leading business aviation services organization ExecuJet Middle East of Dubai, UAE. ExecuJet Middle East will manage the aircraft on behalf of two customers in the region.

"The business jet fleet in the Middle East has more than doubled in the past 10 years, and our entry-long range Global 5000 jet is the most delivered large aircraft in the Middle East region," said Khader Mattar, Vice President of Sales, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and China, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "The Middle East is a key region for Bombardier, and we are delighted to see our market leadership, in terms of both share and installed base, strengthened further by these deliveries."

The addition of the two Global aircraft to ExecuJet's managed fleet also reflects increased demand for high-quality managed services in the region. Managed services allow owners to benefit fully from aircraft ownership, but without the management responsibilities involved in aircraft operations.

"Along with the growing trend towards ultra-long-range aircraft in this region, we are experiencing an increased interest in ExecuJet's aircraft management offering in the Middle East. This success is a testament to our high levels of customer service, safety and quality," said Mike Berry, ExecuJet's Vice President, Middle East.

The ExecuJet Middle East also serves as a Bombardier Authorized Service Facility in Dubai and has a proven reputation for excellence in the maintenance of business aircraft. The company is a five-time winner of the Bombardier Authorized Service Facility Excellence Award in the International category. The annual awards recognize the outstanding efforts and successes of individual ASFs within the Bombardier network in five categories.
