Aero-TV: Timely and Uncompromising – The Abingdon Company Watches

A Watch Company Dedicated To The 'Women In Aviation' Community

Somehow ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, doesn’t strike you as a “high fashion” kind of guy, but he stepped forward at Sun ‘n Fun 2015 to check the fashion news at the Abingdon Watch Company display.

He met up with Abingdon Watch Company Crew Member and Chief, Abingdon Welch.

Welch showed Jim their newest women’s aviation watch, named Katherine. It’s available in 8 different colors and features unique aviation-related functions that have not been seen before in any watch designed for aviation use. In the video, Welch demonstrates the features of the watch which also includes changeable watch bands. The difference with this design is that the watch band is a simple snap and change procedure; no pins need to be removed.

In case you’re wondering why they would name a watch Katherine, Abingdon Watch Company gives all their watches ladies names. If you’re also wondering how they come up with the names, watch the video. As the interview continues Jim finds out more interesting facts about the Abingdon Watch Company and their plans for the future. Hint… They’re coming out with watches that address other recreational women’s activities.

As you watch this video you’ll see that this is more than just a story about aviation watches for women; it’s the story about one individual who through innovative thinking and hard work is creating a product.
