1st Praetor 600 Tendered to South Korean Flight Inspectors

Embraer Making Inroads to Asian Market with Smaller, Lighter Jet

Embraer tendered the first Praetor 600 to South Korea's Flight Inspection Services Center, a government office that undertakes a range of airborne survey, inspection, and assessments.

The Flight Inspection Center takes on tasks like site survey, surveillance, procedure validation, ADS-B checks, inspections for commissionings, periodic reviews, and the like. The Praetor was equipped with German outfit Aerodata AG's AeroFIS flight inspection system

The Praetor's nify array of electronic features, workload reducers, and FBW controls bought it some fans in Korean purchasers. Their new plane will allow them to cover more than 4,000 nm at a stretch, going all the way up to Mach 0.83.

"Embraer is proud to support South Korea's Flight Inspection Center in their mission to enhance the safety and efficiency of their airspace,” said Bosco da Costa Junior, President & CEO of Embraer Defense & Security. “The deployment of the Praetor 600 for flight inspection services reflects our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that make a difference in aviation. We look forward to a continued partnership with Aerodata AG and South Korea with our exceptional service."
