The Story Behind Thielert Diesels
Notwithstanding the recent business and legal woes of Thielert
Aircraft Engines and its founder, the company has made a major
impact on general aviation. Today, we'll hear how the Thielert
diesels came about from company founder Frank Thielert, and how
they found their way into the Cessna 172 from Cessna's Jack Pelton
and Roger Whyte.
