US Airways Removes Brandon T. Jackson From Monday Flight

Airline Says The Actor's Behavior Was 'Disruptive'

Another actor has been removed from an airline flight, and gone on to make his case on Twitter causing a minor media feeding frenzy.

This time, it's the star of "Tropic Thunder" Brandon T. Jackson, who US Airways said was being "disruptive" on a flight after being served several adult beverages. A representative for the airline told the gossip site TMZ that "The disruptive behavior started with loud music being played by Mr. Jackson at his seat. He was asked several times to turn down the music. Additional erratic behavior was observed and that is when the crew made the decision to stop serving [alcohol to Brandon]."

Jackson reportedly went on Twitter to claim that the flight attendants had used racial epithets against him "for no reason." The airline steadfastly denies that the flight attendants acted inappropriately in any way.

The flight landed in Phoenix, AZ where Jackson had been booked on a connecting flight to Burbank, CA. The actor was escorted off the plane by the Phoenix police and interviewed, but they determined that no crime had been committed.

Still, US Airways told the actor to make other plans for continuing on to California, because he was not going to be allowed to board his connecting flight. So far, that's the last that's been heard of the incident.
