Swift Enterprises Announces Testing Agreement With Electroair

100LL Alternative To Be Tested With Direct Fire Ignition System

Swift Enterprises and Electroair are pleased to announce the signing of a Testing Agreement. For the last five years, Swift Enterprises has been developing 100SF, a high-octane unleaded replacement for 100LL aviation gasoline that meets Grade UL102 of the newly-published ASTM D7719 Standard Specification for High-Octane Unleaded Test Fuel.

Swift’s Cessna 150, which has a four-cylinder Continental O-200-A engine, will be fitted with an Electroair Direct Fire Ignition System to further augment the increased fuel economy experienced by using 100SF. It is of note that the Continental O-200-A can and has flown, unmodified, on UL102. Swift flew their Cessna 150 to AirVenture 2011 on 100% SwiftFuel, and it is being displayed outside the Innovations Center.

Electroair has recently earned an STC for a pure-electronic ignition system on all four-cylinder Lycoming aviation engines.
