First Landings Aviation Adds Piper Cub To Fleet

Taildragger Joins Tricycle-Gear Piper Sport And Remos Aircraft For Training

First Landings Aviation, the sport pilot flight school founded in May of 2009 by two young entrepreneurs, is excited to announce the addition of a Piper Cub to its fleet. The addition of the Cub allows First Landings Aviation to offer both conventional gear (tail-dragger) training, as well as tricycle-gear training in its Remos and PiperSport aircraft. The Cub will add diversity to the First Landings fleet, as its simple "steam gauge" panel layout is now a training option for those who prefer not to train in glass cockpit aircraft.

First Landings Piper Cub

"We chose the Piper Cub because the timeless airplane is great trainer, can be flown by Sport Pilots, and allows us to offer tail-dragger training for pilots wishing to hone their flying skills and try something different" says Chris Esposito, Chief Pilot and co-owner of First Landings Aviation. "The simplicity of the cockpit really forces pilots to fly the airplane by feel, obtaining true stick and rudder skills in the process."

First Landings Piper Sport

Since being founded in May of 2009, First Landings Aviation has grown into Central Florida's premier sport pilot training headquarters. With the Piper Cub, First Landings Aviation can continue to expand and offer their specialized two-week accelerated courses as well as training for weekend warriors.
