Aero-News Plane Of The Day: Angel

For the next few days, while we're at Oshkosh, ANN will bring you some of the most unusual aircraft in the world. Let us know if you like this feature. If so, perhaps, with your help, we can do this on a regular basis --ed.

ANN Plane Of The Day

The Angel is an eight place twin-engine STOL aircraft, capable of a minimum take-off roll of 658 feet and a cruise speed of 175 knots.

The Angel was developed by a non-profit organization to handle rough fields while maintaining a good load-hauling capability. The Angel was certified FAR 23 FAA in late 1992. The for profit Angel Aircraft Corporation received its Production Certificate on September 23rd, 2003.
