SUBJECT: Airworthiness Directive 2008-13-11
SUMMARY: We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the products listed above. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product.

The MCAI describe the unsafe condition as: Service experience indicates that as aircraft become older, they are more likely to exhibit indications of corrosion.

Additionally, the FAA has reviewed the service experience and finds this action to be necessary based upon that service experience.

We are issuing this AD to require actions to correct the unsafe condition on these products.
