ICAS Ready To Announce Nearly 300 Confirmed AirShow Details At Annual Convention

“We’re Using A Different Process For Identifying And Confirming Future Air Show Dates..."

About a month from now, on the morning of Tuesday, December 5, The International Council of AirShows (ICAS) will announce the confirmed dates for not less than 261 air shows in 2024 and 2025.

“This will be a breakthrough year for ICAS and our convention delegates as it relates to the air show schedule announcements,” says Karen Connors, ICAS Director of Membership Services. “We’re using a different process for identifying and confirming future air show dates and ICAS Convention delegates will benefit from those improvements beginning at 10:00 a.m. PST on Tuesday, December 5, immediately following our general session presentation.”

Traditionally, it is the announcement of confirmed show dates on the first day of the ICAS Convention that drives exhibit hall traffic throughout the three-day convention. With more confirmed dates and earlier public announcement of those dates, ICAS expects the exhibit hall floor to be a beehive of activity during all five exhibit hall sessions of the three and a half-day ICAS Convention.

As of November 6, 1,076 individuals had registered to attend the 2023 ICAS Convention. ICAS expects that number to increase by another 400 delegates by the time the North American air show community descends on Las Vegas during the first full week of December. While the civilian airshow community will be well represented, the event will also feature representatives from Barksdale AFB, Beale AFB, Cannon AFB, Charleston AFB, Columbus AFB, Dover AFB, Edwards AFB, Elmendorf AFB, Fort Wayne (IN) ANG, Hill AFB, Kadena AFB, Langley AFB, Laughlin AFB, Luke AFB, Maxwell AFB, McConnell AFB, Nellis AFB, Offutt AFB, Selfridge (MI) ANGB, Randolph AFB, Seymour-Johnson AFB, Shaw AFB, St. Joseph (MO) ANGB, Tinker AFB, and Travis AFB.
