Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has announced that the CS100 aircraft has completed its certification flight testing, subject to Transport Canada's final review and acceptance.

Concurrently, Bombardier is finalizing the submission of the remaining Type Certificate documentation for Transport Canada approval. The FAA has certified the Nextant Aerospace G90XT turboprop. The remanufactured King Air is powered by GE H75 engines, and features single lever power control, an integrated Garmin G1000 flight deck, digital pressurization, Auto-start and a full electronic engine control system, and an ergonomically re-designed cockpit. The second PC-24 prototype has made its maiden flight. The aircraft flew across Central Switzerland for a total of 82 minutes. Pilatus says this first flight by the second prototype marks another major step forward in the Pilatus PC-24 development program. This aircraft will be deployed mainly in the USA and in Canada, where it will undergo various systems tests and certification flights in partnership with the systems suppliers. Special scrutiny will be accorded to the avionics systems and the autopilot, but the program will also include cold weather
trials and icing tests. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
