ASA Releases New Pilot Training App

Access To Ground School Courses, Test Prep Questions, And Videos

Aviation Supplies & Academics announced the release of its new mobile app, the ASA Pilot Training App.

The app provides access to any of the ASA Pilot Ground Schools with an existing ASA online ground school account.

Students will be able to use this app on their mobile device to go through the ASA Ground Schools for the Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot, and Remote Pilot certificate or rating. Also included is comprehensive preparation for the FAA Knowledge Exams.

Flight training videos are also available on topics including helicopter operations, airplane flight maneuvers required for checkrides, and single subjects such as understanding spins, tailwheel flying, unusual attitudes, and more.

Students can select a free demo of the first lesson of any of the Pilot Ground Schools. The full course can then be purchased within the app and sync it with an existing ASA ground school account.

The ground school curricula are organized to align with the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS) and cover all knowledge required of them. Clear, sharp videos and the latest instructional aids come together with ASA’s expertise in producing eBooks and test prep materials to provide students a comprehensive and convenient aviation ground school program.

The app is all-inclusive, with textbook and test prep materials, multimedia videos and short lesson clips, quizzes, sample FAA questions with answers, explanations, and reviews, as well as practice tests all along the way. The app tracks student progress so they can easily pick up where they left off.

Upon completion, students will receive an official endorsement to take the FAA Knowledge Exam.

The app is free on iOS with in-app purchases available for the courses.
