Starlink Upgrade Now Available For Cessna Citation Longitude

Expands Aftermarket Options With AeroMech STC And Starlink Kit

Textron Aviation announced a new high-speed internet connectivity upgrade option for the Cessna Citation Longitude after the FAA issued an approval for AeroMech’s Starlink Supplemental Type Certificate, which uses the Starlink constellation of Low Earth Orbit or LEO satellites for more reliable connectivity over land, water, and remote areas where typical Wi-Fi may not have service.

Brian Rohloff, Senior Vice President of Customer Support said, “With Starlink now available as an aftermarket option for Longitude customers, they can enjoy high-speed, reliable connectivity that keeps them productive and connected throughout their flight.

“The Cessna Citation Longitude already delivers an exceptional experience with its quiet cabin, extended range and advanced avionics. Adding Starlink elevates that experience even further, helping customers stay focused on their mission without compromising on connectivity.”

Customers can schedule the upgrade installation at North American Textron Aviation Service Centers and International Service Centers. AeroMech’s STC uses the Starlink Aviation Kit, which consists of an Aero Terminal Antenna, power supply unit, one wireless access point, and harnessing. It requires just a power input from the aircraft.

Beyond its Textron-branded Service Centers, Longitude owners and operators also have access to more than 300 authorized service facilities around the world, as well as a mobile support program with over 40 mobile service units and on-site service technicians and support.

In addition to this new option for the Citation Longitude, Starlink is also available for the following models: Citation Latitude, Sovereign and Sovereign+, Citation X and X+, 560 Excel, XLS, XLS+, XLS Gen 2 models, as well as the Beechcraft King Air 200 and 300 Series aircraft and the Cessna Caravan.
