SWA And Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association Reach Tentative Agreement

Covers Mechanics And Related Employees

Southwest Airlines has announced a Tentative Agreement has been reached with the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), which represents the Company's 2,400 Employees in the Aircraft Mechanics and Related workgroup. The agreement gives Employees improved compensation, a ratification bonus, and updated work rules.

"We're glad our Employees will have the opportunity to vote on this Tentative Agreement, as we feel it rewards them for the hard work they demonstrate every day," said Vice President of Labor Relations Russell McCrady.  "I appreciate the work by both Negotiating Committees to reach this agreement."

AMFA will communicate directly to its membership about the ratification process. If the agreement is approved, the contract will become amendable April 1, 2023.
