Business Jet Installs Starlink On Gulfstream GIV

One Of The First GIV Installations

Business Jet said it recently completed two of the first Starlink installations on the Gulfstream GIV since it was awarded the STC in August.

During the GIV’s most recent flight, passengers enjoyed download speeds of up to 285 Mbps and were able to simultaneously stream three different movies with almost no latency.

The feedback from both passengers and crew was universally positive, with some saying simply, “Game changer.”

Lina Sabbah, Director of Aircraft Solutions and Acquisitions said, "The addition of the GIV to the lineup of approved aircraft has been met with enthusiasm from its owners and operators. We are proud to deliver tailored solutions to our clients, and this milestone supports this commitment. We look forward to expanding our portfolio of completed aircraft models as STCs continue to be approved."

Starlink offers cutting-edge technology to satisfy the growing demand for connectivity for both business or leisure. It offers travelers a reliable solution during the entire flight and ensures uninterrupted productivity and entertainment.

STCs are currently available for the Gulfstream GIV/GV/G450/G550/G650 and G650ER as well as the Bombardier Global 5000/6000/6500/7500/Express and XRS models.

Business Jet will be installing Starlink next on the Embraer Legacy 600 STC Certification Aircraft, planned for December. And by the end of the year, STCs are anticipated for the Bombardier Global 5500 with the Challenger 300/350 in early 2025.
