RAA Announces 2024 Scholarship Program Opening
The Regional Airline Association announced the opening of the application window for its 2024 scholarship program, aimed at students preparing for careers in the airline industry. This initiative underscores RAA's commitment to fostering the next generation of aviation professionals and alleviating the financial burdens associated with higher education and training.

This year, RAA will award three scholarships, each valued at $4,000, to deserving individuals who demonstrate a strong interest and academic commitment to the aviation field. The scholarship program is designed for students who are currently enrolled in accredited college or university programs leading to careers in the airline industry. Eligibility criteria also include a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the time of application and either U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
Applicants are required to submit a comprehensive resume that details their work experience, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Additionally, they must provide a brief essay that highlights their interest in the airline industry. A faculty recommendation and an official school transcript are also required as part of the application process. The deadline for submission is April 30, 2024, and applications must be completed online.
Beyond offering financial assistance to aspiring aviation professionals, RAA encourages individuals and organizations to contribute to the RAA Scholarship Foundation. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity, the foundation relies on donations to sustain its scholarship offerings. Contributions are tax-deductible and play a crucial role in supporting the educational and professional development of future leaders in the aviation industry.
For more information on the scholarship requirements, application process, and how to contribute to the foundation, please visit the RAA website or contact the RAA directly. This scholarship program represents a tangible way to invest in the future of aviation and support the dreams of students aspiring to make their mark in the airline industry.
