Provides Enhanced Capabilities For S-55X Autopilots

At a Wednesday morning conference at Sun 'n Fun, S-Tec Corporation announced the company has earned FAA-STC approval for the installation of the company's standard roll axis servo on Cirrus SR22 aircraft equipped with System Fifty-Five X autopilots.

"It is and has always been our goal to provide Cirrus Design and Cirrus owners and pilots with the best autopilot system available. We strongly believe that this new roll servo STC will help Cirrus SR22 pilots get even more enjoyment and usefulness out of these amazing airplanes."

S-Tec says the roll axis servo maintains the original-spec roll trim capabilities, while also providing enhanced performance in roll response, approach authority, ILS tracking and autopilot roll axis control when the aircraft is flying on autopilot.
