UAV Navigation To Sponsor Reno Race Plane

Company To Apply Rich Experience In Championship Air Races and AirShow

UAV Navigation will sponsor its CEO and co-founder Guillermo Parodi's jet aircraft in the upcoming Reno National Championship Air Races and Air Show in September 2012. Parodi will be flying a Cassutt Special III dubbed, "N-A-RUSH."

The Cassault Special III is a single seat racing jet designed in the United States in 1951 by ex-TWA Captain Tom Cassutt. It will compete in the Formula One Class. All Formula One aircraft are powered by a Continental O-200 engine. The fastest of these aircraft can reach almost 250 mph on the 3.12 mile race course in Reno.

Parodi commented, " I appreciate the first-hand experience of flight testing the company's avionics equipment myself. It is a direct way of understanding the needs of the ultimate consumer and a fertile ground for breeding new ideas.

UAV Navigation, founded in 2004, has extensive experience in motor sports events. It has supplied the telemetry used in the Red Bull air shows and the camera stabilization for Moto GP. These environs provide a highly visible and challenging training ground for the company's products. UAV Navigation specializes in the design of flight control systems and motion processors with offices in Spain, the U.s. and Israel. It's high performance navigation and autopilot systems are used in a wide range of Unmanned Aerial Systems.

The Reno National Championship Air Races is the last pylon-racing event in the world.
