National Airways Corp. Appointed As Authorized Piper Distributor

New Affiliate Will Serve Southern Africa

Piper Aircraft Inc. has appointed National Airways Corp. (NAC) as the company's Authorized Distributor for Sub-Saharan Africa, effective immediately. NAC, through its wholly owned subsidiary 43 Air School, is the largest Piper fleet operator in Africa.

"NAC's proven expertise with the Piper product line, its Piper fleet experience and proven aviation success in Africa makes its choice as our authorized distributor in the region a natural," says Piper Executive Vice President Randy Groom. "NAC serves the area very well and we are looking forward to expanding our presence and market share in the region."

"Piper Aircraft offers a complete line of the highest quality aircraft for everyone - from new pilots to adventure-seekers to serious business travelers, helping realize the flying dreams of any pilot," said NAC's Executive Director for Aircraft Sales JP Fourie. "NAC offers customers a depth and breadth of aviation expertise, underpinned by reliability, maintainability, endurance and state-of-the-art technology. This will usher in a new era for Piper owners and enthusiasts of unparalleled product support. Piper sales offices will be located at NAC's new private aviation facility at Wonderboom Airport, outside Pretoria and 43 Air School in Port Alfred, giving the Piper brand broad geographic coverage, supported by excellent knowledge of the Piper market."
