Introducing Staff, Stringers, Videographers, And People Who Make It All Work

Anyone who's ever been to Oshkosh knows that there are hundreds of events and activities as well as tens of thousands of people that descend (some quite literally) on Wittman Regional Airport in mid-summer. While we have a very hard-working and dedicated staff, ANN could not provide you with the extensive information we do without the help of some equally ... some might say more ... dedicated volunteers who give a week of their time to make sure you have the best possible coverage of the show. As we lead up to this year's edition of AirVenture, we'll be introducing you to the people that make all of that possible.

Videographer Annie Byers

Annie has worked more years behind the lens than she cares to admit. Ok, it's 37 years, and most of that she has had the privilege of recording aviation history through news stories for TV stations around the country, and her own documentary company.

Growing up under two military pilots and one general aviation pilot, Byers was bitten by aviation fever at a young age. Though not a pilot (yet) she is currently helping to restore a 1946 7AC Aeronca Champ under the guidance of her good friend and former sound man/grip Jerry Anderson.

She is thrilled to be working with the ANN crew helping out with telling the unique stories you can only find at AirVenture Oshkosh.
