FDC 5/8124 ZHU LA.. FLIGHT RESTRICTION, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTION 91.137(A)(2) TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT. HELICOPTER AIR REFUELING BEING CONDUCTED IN SUPPORT OF JTF KATRINA OPERATIONS IN FOLLOWING LOCATIONS: PONTCHATRAIN BRIDGE TRACK 5 MILES EAST OF A LINE FROM THE HRV 336 RADIAL 22.2 DME TO HRV 354 RADIAL 46.5 DME; TRIPLE BRIDGES TRACK 5 MILES EAST OF A LINE FROM HRV 015 RADIAL 16 DME TO HRV 027 RADIAL 34 DME; GUMBO TRACK FROM HRV 053 RADIAL 18.5 DME TO HRV 059 RADIAL 41.4 DME 2.5 MILES EITHER SIDE OF THE TRACK. ALL REFUELING WILL BE CONDUCTED BETWEEN 2500 MSL UP TO BUT NOT INCLUDING 4000 MSL. HELICOPTER AIR REFUELING INCLUDES HH-60 AND MH-53 HELICOPTERS CONNECTED TO HC-130P SEVERELY LIMITING MANUEVERING CAPABILITY. USE EXTREME CAUTION IN THIS AREA BECAUSE OF SLOW FLIGHT AND RANDOM REJOINS IN THE SPECIFIED AREA. THE HOUSTON /ZHU/ ARTCC, TELEPHONE 281-230- 5560, IS THE FAA COORDINATION FACILITY.
