Ahmed Foundation Invests $1M In ReliefWings For Aid

AI Drone Network To Deliver Food, Meds, Supplies In India, Pakistan

Dr. Anosh Ahmed, philanthropist and CEO of his own private office PFOAA, along with the Dr. Anosh Ahmed Foundation, announced a $1 million investment commitment to ReliefWings to provide faster and more efficient relief aid in areas of northern India and Pakistan affected by recent monsoon flooding.

ReliefWings is an AI-powered drone initiative being developed to provide emergency aid to communities struck by natural disaster in areas where infrastructure has collapsed. The ReliefWings prototype fleet is targeting mid-2026 for its pilot launch.

ReliefWings is designed to be adaptable in other regions including flood-prone areas in Bangladesh, wildfire zones in California, and areas affected by conflict such as the Middle East and Africa.

Salient features of ReliefWings are:

  • Autonomous drone range of 10–15 km with payload capacity up to 20 kg
  • Solar-powered, swarming-enabled coverage
  • Temperature-controlled containers for insulin, baby formula, and heat kits
  • AI-driven navigation and geospatial mapping

Dr. Ahmed said, “By the time relief trucks get permits or cross floodwaters, people are already suffering. Our goal is to create a system that moves quickly and gets supplies directly to those who need them most. ReliefWings represents an opportunity to integrate innovation into disaster response ”

The Dr. Anosh Ahmed Foundation was founded by Dr. Ahmed as a global nonprofit dedicated to delivering rapid humanitarian aid through innovations such as drone vehicles powered by AI. Its mission is to provide scalable humanitarian solutions for providing emergency relief to vulnerable communities worldwide.
