Scandinavian Airlines Announces New Business Class Seats

Seats Will Make Long Trip More Comfortable

Scandinavian Airlines is showing off their newest creation at the yearly travel exhibition in Scandinavia. Its newly designed seats can convert into a comfortable bed and will be installed early next year in Business Class.

"According to our customer surveys, many of our passengers request greater privacy accompanied with more comfort," says Lars Lindgren, Head of Scandinavian Airlines International in a news release. "The new seats are a way of increasing the convenience for our passengers on board. The seats are both appealing and comfortable according to the studies we have made, and that is very satisfactory."

The company claims that the new seats will be more private, roomy, and comfortable than the traditional seats. You won't have to sleep to enjoy them, the seats will also include a large video on demand screen, so you can choose what to watch and when. The seats also include a storage area for laptop computers and perhaps a drink. Scandanavian operates 11 Airbus 330/340s and serves New York, Chicago, Washington DC, and Seattle.
