19Labs Initiates Commercial Service With GALE | Force Drone

Advanced Civilian UAS Equipped With Starlink, NVIDIA AI

19Labs, a leader in rural healthcare solutions, announced it has launched the service of its GALE | Force drones and completed its first commercial flight in Guyana to deliver medications and return with lab samples from the remote community of Muritaro on June 3rd, 2025.

The life-changing GALE | Force drone is equipped with Starlink connectivity that enables BVLOS flight operations. It also incorporates NVIDIA AI that enables it to perform safe vertical takeoff and landing at any place, day or night, and was developed in partnership with IDB Lab, the innovation and venture division of the Inter-American Development Bank. The drone was named in honor of the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale, and also draws inspiration from gale-force winds that represent the operating speed of the drone.

19Labs and the Guyanese Government intend to expand the service to all of the country’s remote areas in 2026. The company is in advanced discussions with other countries to bring GALE | Force drone service to them as well.

GALE | Force features and capabilities include:

  • IP55 Weather & Rain Proof for safe operation in adverse weather conditions
  • Remote Pilot HD View provides the same experience as manned aviation, early weather detection and remote inspection of landing sites
  • Takeoff and landing from anywhere; 200km (124 miles) range and 90km/hr (55mph) speed
  • Chilled cargo compartment and temperature monitoring of medication, vaccines, and blood samples

Ram Fish, CEO of 19Labs said, “The GALE | Force drone opens tremendous new markets that go far beyond medical supplies, including, for example, completely transforming Emergency Response.”

“GALE | Force drone is the industry's first and only all-in-one integrated solution that empowers governments to survey the emergency scene remotely, provide connectivity to first responders and deliver the essential supplies they need. Combined with our advanced telemedicine solution, the result is smarter, effective crisis handling and access to medical care and supplies that help save lives,” he added.
