Naples Airport Authority (KAPF) Selects Avfuel

Will Become FBO Marketing Partner, Fuel Supplier

Naples Municipal Airport (KAPF) in Naples, FL, has partnered with Avfuel Corporation to provide branding, marketing, and service support for its FBO services as well as to supply fuel to the airport. The partnership enables Naples Municipal Airport to add popular Avfuel programs in the near future.

Naples and the surrounding areas - Florida’s Paradise Coast - are known for scenic beaches, sophisticated shopping, dining, and accommodation options, first-rate golf courses, and nature and wildlife attractions. The area is popular both as a seasonal-home base as well as a family-friendly vacation destination. Naples Municipal Airport serves as the home base for nearly 400 aircraft, and 2012 operations totaled 87,000. The Florida Department of Transportation named it the state’s general aviation airport of the year for 2012.

These types of rankings validate the airport’s commitment to exceptional service and a continual focus on improvement, says Ted Soliday, Executive Director. “Naples Municipal Airport and the Naples Airport Authority work tirelessly to advance the general aviation experience. This includes everything from the safe fueling and handling of aircraft to the appearance of our facilities,” Soliday said. Partnering with Avfuel was a logical step: “Avfuel gives us access to a variety of systems to further enhance the customer experience, from the provision of popular pilot programs, to more efficient transaction processing and a variety of safety and training resources. Additionally, Avfuel’s ability to reliably procure and deliver high-quality product is an asset to our business.”

Avfuel’s Marci Ammerman, Vice President, Marketing, cites Naples Municipal Airport as an exceptional FBO: “This airport and FBO have received numerous accolades over the past several years, yet the airport authority and the FBO team are always pondering how they can better serve their customers,” Ammerman said. “Avfuel is proud to play a role in these efforts.”

Naples Municipal Airport features a light-filled terminal, business center, dedicated pilots’ lounge, fitness facilities, and a flight-planning center. Red-carpet service and 24-hour security accompany services and amenities such as catering, a variety of ground transportation options, complimentary coffee, ice and newspapers and more.
