FlightSafety’s Falcon 2000LXS/900LX Interchangeable Simulator Enters Service

New Sims Available For Training At The Teterboro Learning Center

FlightSafety International announces that training using a new Dassault Falcon 2000LXS/900LX interchangeable simulator will begin on October 26, 2019 at the Teterboro Learning Center following FAA Level D qualification.

“We are pleased to expand the training programs we offer for operators of Dassault Falcon aircraft at our Teterboro Learning Center with this new interchangeable simulator,” said Steve Gross, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing.

The advances in technology incorporated into the new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator include FlightSafety’s industry-leading VITAL visual system and CrewView collimated glass mirror display.

The simulator is also equipped with the Dassault FalconEye Combined Vision System HUD. It combines synthetic, database-driven terrain mapping and actual thermal and low-light camera images into a single view that provides an unprecedented level of situational awareness to flight crews in all conditions of operation, day and night. Training courses for Operational Credit Down to 100 feet are also available for Falcons equipped with FalconEye HUD. In synthetic vision system (SVS) mode, the camera displays a 40° horizontal by 30° vertical field of view with a 1280×1024 resolution, one of the widest angles on any HUD, ensuring full coverage of the viewing area with no tunnel vision effects.

FlightSafety provides training for the Falcon 10/100, Falcon 20/20-5, Falcon 50, 50EX, Falcon 200, Falcon 2000/EX, 2000EX EASy/DX/LX/LXS, Falcon 900B/C, 900EX, 900EX EASy/DX/LX, 7X and 8X aircraft. It is available at FlightSafety’s Learning Centers in Columbus, Ohio; Dallas, Texas; Houston, Texas; Teterboro, New Jersey; Wilmington, Delaware; and at the Paris-Le Bourget airport.
