Pratt & Whitney Canada Signs Four Major Contracts

Will Provide Engine Maintenance For U.S. EMS Helicopter Operators

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) has signed engine maintenance contracts with four U.S. emergency medical service (EMS) helicopter operators that will keep their fleets flying with predictable maintenance costs.

The long-term contracts include the Fleet Management Program (FMP), the Event Cost Plan (ECP), the Zero-Time Exchange and Overhaul Program (ZIP) and the T&M Engine Services Agreement, thus showing the diversity of the support plan proposed by P&WC to be the closest to the operators’ operations and support demand.

Metro Aviation Inc., Air Medical Group Holdings, TriState CareFlight and Life Flight Network join a growing list of P&WC engine operators who are benefiting from the company’s extensive and global customer support network, including over 30 P&WC-owned and designated service facilities, more than 100 field support representatives, a 24-7 Customer First Center for rapid expert support, the most advanced diagnostic capabilities and the largest pool of rental and exchange engines in the industry.
