StandardAero Surpasses 19,000 Honeywell TFE731 Engine Maintenance Events

Began Servicing The Engines 40 Years Ago

StandardAero Business Aviation announced that it recently surpassed more than 19,000 Honeywell TFE731 turbofan engine Core Zone Inspections (CZIs) and Major Periodic Inspections (MPIs) since first servicing these engines nearly 40 years ago.  In addition to these heavy maintenance services, the company has also responded to more than 5,000 customer requests for mobile services and performed thousands of other services on TFE731 engines.

StandardAero credits the success of these volumes to its team of FAA certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) licensed and OEM factory trained mechanics, averaging 16-years of tenure with the company.  In addition, the company’s four U.S.-based maintenance facilities have established loyal and repeat customers over decades of trusted service partnerships.

“We don’t just repair these engines.  We were once part of the company that was the original designer and manufacturer for TFE731 engines.  So, we know this engine like our own DNA,” explained Marc McGowan, President of StandardAero Business Aviation.  “Over decades, we have maintained a very strong relationship with Honeywell and we are proud to serve as the undisputed leader in maintaining these engines.”

StandardAero is also an industry leader in delivering the fastest TFE731 major maintenance turn-around times.  StandardAero pioneered its FASTLANE concept in 2005 as has consistently delivered more than a 50% reduction in industry standard turn-around times for TFE731 FASTLANE customers for more than ten years.

“There is no substitute for experience,” McGowan added.  “We are flattered that other maintenance providers are attempting to replicate our FASTLANE concept but no one comes close to the volume of TFE731 MRO work we’ve accomplished or the quality of our services and customer satisfaction.”
