Washington Flight Restrictions Canceled With Return to 'Condition Yellow'

As the nation reduced its Threat Level from "Orange" to Yellow," the FAA issued a number of NOTAMs canceling restrictions at the so-called "DC-3" airports (College Park, Washington Executive/Hyde Field, and Potomac) that use a gateway facility. AOPA's Melissa Bailey (AOPA Vice President of Air Traffic Policy) also tells us that, "They have also reinstated waivers for pilots operating in the National Capital Region (SFAR 94) and waivers to the sporting events NOTAM, effective at the same time."
