Fifteen Year Gulfstream Veteran Moves Into Vice President Position

Gulfstream Names Stan Dixon Vice President, Sustaining And Government Programs

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently named Stan Dixon vice president, Sustaining and Government Programs. Dixon reports to Dan Nale, senior vice president, Programs, Engineering and Test, Gulfstream.

In his new role, Dixon manages entry-into-service programs and leads the Reliability, Quality and Availability Action Team and the Production Change Management Team. In addition, he supervises the execution of all government programs, from the bid and proposal phase through delivery and post-delivery activities. He also administers several research and development programs, oversees the retrofit management program at all Gulfstream sites and is responsible for Program Master Schedule development.

“In the 15 years that Stan has been with Gulfstream, he has developed an extensive background in program management, aircraft development and production programs, and business operations,” said Nale. “That expertise makes him uniquely qualified for this new position.”

Most recently, Dixon served as vice president, Mid-Cabin Programs, overseeing all activities relating to Gulfstream’s mid-cabin aircraft, including the G150 and G280 programs. During that time, he oversaw the successful entry into service of the company’s newest super mid-size business jet, the Gulfstream G280.

Dixon joined Gulfstream in 1999 as director, Purchasing and Subcontracts, and has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station and is a commercial, instrument-rated pilot.
