SnF25 Redux--Day 4: Kings Schools, GA v Landing Fees, ATC Academy

Looking Back at SnF25, DAY Four: Affordable Flying Expo, Direct Fly USA, Alpha Systems AOA, Dimor Vandalized

John, Martha, and Barry keep us up to date on some exciting scholarship and educational programs… some involving both NAFI and WAI.

And they have details about their third seminar at sea program… It’s been going on for a while, but a hard push by at least one company to institute landing fees at GAA airports across America while deservedly earning the enmity of flyers everywhere… and some of the inside details are truly questionable. The road to an ATC job can be convoluted, but as a profession, it’s a solid prospect. Now there is an educational program designed to ease the path to one of the thousands of ATC jobs. We’re about to take on one of the biggest tasks… our own winter fly-in to replace the Sebring and Deland shows of old. With the expert help of Sun n Fn and the use of their facilities, we’re about to reveal ALL the details of what we have in mind…. Please join us at Sun n Fun campus this November 6th, 7th, and 8th. The Alto NG has seen some serious upgrades… including US support that seems more than up to the task. New panels, paint, engines… you name it, DirectFly USA seems to be just what the Alto NG needed. ANN is still piecing together details about a wholly inexplicable act of ‘criminal mischief’ that took place on April 1st according to the Lakeland PD. While the records office has little to say at this time, they indicated that there may be a suspect in mind. We will continue to monitor LPD report #25-28947 and will update you all when we have more details via Aero-News. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne-Unlimited!!!
