Classic Aero-TV: RJ Gritter - Part of Aviation’s Bright New Future

From 2015 (YouTube Edition): Model Aviator Aims For Full-Scale Career

While at the 2015 Indoor Electric RC Festival, referred to as eFest, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell not only made this fascinating report, he was also “blown away” by what he saw.

As you’ll see in this video, indoor RC model aircraft flying is something that can excite anyone at any age.

Jim talked with RJ Gritter, a member of the U.S.A F3P Flying Team that is headed to Poland to fly in the world championship competition for this class of indoor RC planes. Gritter talks about the competition, and he also shares his insights about the sport of model flying and how the RC model community works together to make their hobby available to everyone.

As Gritter and Jim talk, our videographer follows the flying action, and you’ll be amazed at what you see. The scope and variations of flying models is stunning. Gritter makes interesting points about how the technology applied to these models is going to affect “full scale” aircraft technology in the future.

This is a must see video! Warning: Viewing this video could result in an uncontrollable urge to fly indoor RC model aircraft.
