Mark Sindone Will Lead Development Of Support Network

Avidyne appears serious about turning around its customer service operation. The avionics manufacturer has appointed an 18-year industry veteran, Mark Sindone, to the position of Director of Customer Service.

Sindone, who most recently served as Director of Customer Logistics at AGL Resources, Inc. in Atlanta, GA brings a strong background in aviation, having spent 15 years in technical operations at Delta Air Lines prior to joining AGL in 2005. A licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic, he is currently enrolled at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University pursuing a degree in Professional Aeronautics.

"Mark Sindone is one of the most important hires Avidyne has brought on board in recent memory, said Rob Higby, Avidyne's Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service. "Over the past several months, Avidyne has implemented a series of strategic moves to elevate our service and dedication to customers. Having this critical function now under Mark's leadership will serve to accelerate our goal to provide industry defining service to Avidyne customers all around the world."

Sindone earned his A& P license in the Aviation Program at Wentworth University in Boston, Massachusetts in 1990. He also holds certifications from Delta Airlines' Learning Center in Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma, Advanced Microsoft Suite, and Delta Project Management.
