As such they’re writing the book as they go, working with the Air Force’s AFWERX program and FAA to establish just what the industry needs ahead of planned commercial service in 2025.
Joby’s already moving along at full speed, working on their initial production aircraft and searching for more talent to help. Bowles specifically cites the firm’s need for maintainers, pilots, and more as the Advanced Air Mobility market coalesces into a brand new form of aviation.
