Classic Aero-TV: What’s in A Name? -- A Genesys Aerosystems Update

From 2014 (YouTube Version): S-Tec and Chelton Combine Into One Pivotal Avionics Company

While at the Aircraft Electronics Association’s (AEA) 2014 Southern Regional convention, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell visited the display of a new company named, Genesys…or is it really a new company? Jim asked Mike Demeter, the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Genesys Aerosystems to explain the genesis of the company.

Demeter explains that most people are aware of companies like Sierra Flight Systems, Chelton and S-TEC, and Genesys Aerosystems is a combination of these and other companies. He explains that much of their product line has been around for a long while but is now consolidated under one company brand name. He also explained that by combining these great products under one company provides more efficient management and better customer service.

As the video continues we see examples of how the combined product lines fit into the aviation electronics arena.

This video makes the case that products that were already good now have a common goal under a new name. Aero-TV is a production of the Internationally syndicated Aero-News Network.

Seen worldwide by hundreds of thousands of aviators and aviation adherents, Aero-TV has produced nearly 2000 aviation and feature programs, including several hundred episodes of our thrice-weekly aviation news program, AIRBORNE, hosted by Ashley Hale. Parent company, Aero-News Network, has the most aggressive and intensive editorial profile of any aviation news organization and has published nearly 200,000 news and feature stories since its inception -- having pioneered the online 24/7 aviation new-media model that so many have emulated.
