CIT Aerospace Reports 19 Commercial Aircraft Deliveries For 1Q/09

CIT Group is confirming that in the first quarter of 2009, CIT Aerospace, Commercial Airlines, delivered 19 new and used aircraft to its airline customers around the world. In addition, the company signed agreements to place 10 commercial aircraft through 2010.

CIT Aerospace, Commercial Airlines also added three new leasing customers in first quarter 2009 and now serves approximately 110 customers in nearly 50 countries.

CIT Aerospace provides financing solutions to a broad spectrum of the global aerospace value chain ranging from operators of commercial and business aircraft to manufacturers and suppliers in the aerospace and defense industries as well as financial institutions. CIT owns or finances a fleet of more than commercial 300 aircraft, with more than $60 billion in finance and leasing assets. CIT operates in more than 50 countries across 30 industries.
