Baldwin Aviation Teams With CAPACG On Flight Data Monitoring Package

"Power Of Plus" Combines Human Factors, Data Analysis Tools

Baldwin Aviation, developers of the SMSplus web-based safety management and monitoring program for fixed wing and helicopter flight organizations, recently teamed with CAP Aviation Consulting Group (CAPACG to offer the "Power of Plus," a complete Safety Management and Flight Data Monitoring package.

Don Baldwin, President of Baldwin Aviation and the former head of both the Texaco and Coca Cola flight departments, announced the exclusive new safety and efficiency package at Heli-Expo in Anaheim, CA. Baldwin Aviation is exhibiting at Heli-Expo in Booth # 2713.

"We’re very pleased to collaborate with CAPACG to provide the most comprehensive solution for improving both safety and efficiency available in business and general aviation, charter and special missions operations," Baldwin said. "Our SMSplus is an on-line, turnkey program that focuses on human factors and procedures and helps flight departments develop a specific Safety Management program that’s tailored to their specific needs. CAPACG provides a complimentary service that concentrates on collecting, managing and analyzing flight data.

"CAPACG has created its FDMplus program to dovetail with our SMSplus and create an equation that adds up to a powerful tool for flight departments," Baldwin added.

Baldwin Aviation has adapted SMSplus from its comprehensive Safety Management Program, which was originally developed in 2005 to simplify compliance to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and IS-BAO regulations, standards, and best practices. CAPACG, which was incorporated in 2004 to bridge the gap between commercial, military and general aviation, has built a solid reputation on its Continual Auditing Programs that are designed to ensure Continual Aviation Proficiency.
