Duncan Aviation Facility Approved As FAA Testing Center

Technical Education Center In Battle Creek, Michigan Gets Nod

Duncan Aviation announced that its testing facility co-located in the company’s Technical Education Center in Battle Creek, Michigan, has been officially approved as an FAA Testing Center, making Battle Creek the only Duncan Aviation location to gain that designation.

The approval of the new testing center enables Duncan team members to take their tests onsite and avoid the hour or more drive to the nearest FAA facility. The testing center also serves students from nearby flight schools and airframe & powerplant programs, enabling greater access to exams needed to advance in those career paths.

FAA Testing Centers play a crucial role in supporting the FAA mission of safety by providing a secure, standardized environment for administering Airman Knowledge Tests that are required for a broad range of aviation certifications.

Testing capabilities include:

• Knowledge tests for pilots, mechanics, and aviation professionals

• FAA-approved testing materials and supplement books

• Secure, standardized environment for exam integrity

The new Battle Creek Testing Center serves:

• Pilots pursuing private, commercial, and advanced certifications and ratings.

• Aviation maintenance technicians seeking certification

• Other aviation professionals, including flight instructors and engineers

Duncan Aviation added this service to reinforce its commitment to the development of team members and strengthen its connection to the wider aviation community as it supports future professionals in their training.
