OurPLANE To Host NYC's First Eclipse 500

Company Aims To Have Jet In White Plains By October

GA fractional ownership operater OurPLANE announced Thursday the forthcoming arrival of the first Eclipse 500 VLJ to New York’s White Plains Airport in early October 2006.

OurPLANE says the plane will be the first Eclipse in the NY area, and one of the very first available nationwide to serve the newly evolving air-taxi market.

OurPLANE plans to offer the Eclipse 500 VLJ to both GA pilots -- who qualify to fly the E500 themselves -- as well as small-to-medium-size businesses and business travelers (non-pilots) to make the dream of corporate or personal private jet a reality at a shockingly low price.

"This is unprecedented and marks an entire new era," said Graham Casson, OurPLANE founder and CEO (right). "Now virtually every person who travels -- pilot, business owner or otherwise -- can afford their own private, personal jet thanks to Eclipse and OurPLANE."

Casson said that OurPLANE's fractional ownership program for the Eclipse 500 will "start at $329,000, with fixed costs of $3500 and hourly operating costs of $469 making an Eclipse private jet affordable for everybody."

Casson notes those costs are dramatically lower than anything else available in the aviation market today.

OurPLANE claims that share owners get up to 95 percent availability with their shared aircraft, and proves it with average daily flying time of a meager 1.6 hrs/day.

"There is a misperception that one gives up flexibility and availability in buying an fractional aircraft," Casson said. "Clearly our historical data proves that is simply not true. Eclipse is making history and as the leading VLJ and OurPLANE is confident that they will meet our customers needs like no other company or product currently available. I applaud Vern Raburn and his entire team."

While awaiting the arrival of its first Eclipse VLJ, OurPLANE also features Cessna 182 Skylanes, Cirrus SR20s & SR22s, and Raytheon Bonanza A36s and King Air C90B aircraft.
