Oh Yeah, ANN Will Be There... And On Aero-TV!
Somewhere in between Cirrus' unveiling of "the-jet" and Rob's
frentic move back to New Mexico (ah, mountains... Managing
Editor's note) someone on the ANN staff made the mistake of
looking at a calendar, and had the following revelation --

"Holy schnieckies, Oshkosh kicks off in three
weeks!"
Of course, ANN has been preparing for the biggest aero-event of
the year for general aviation for quite some time now... in fact,
we've been readying our forces for AirVenture 2007 since well
before the start of AirVenture 2006. We're bringing our
largest crew EVER to Wittman Field this year... including a
dedicated team of broadcasters tasked with bringing the ANN
audience an unprecedented level of in-depth coverage.

As ANN Publisher and E-I-C Jim Campbell
revealed last month, Aero-News will be providing a
preview of ANN 10.0, and Aero-TV, via our DAILY multimedia/online
video, online audio, and online news webcasting LIVE from the
grounds of Oshkosh 2007. From those hallowed grounds, ANN will be
providing DAILY news and DAILY feature reports that can be read,
listened to, and viewed -- directly or via multiple category
downloads -- using the very latest technologies and outlets.
It's going to be an amazing week...
Aero-News will be fielding a number of expert video teams, each of
which comprises an expert aerospace journalist and an expert video
journalist, to make sure that all the news, features,
personalities, programs, and products to be seen at the worlds
greatest aviation event, are seen by the rest of world -- in fact,
bringing the world of Oshkosh to the rest of the world.
Of course, ANN will still do everything it has always done --
we'll continue to bring our readers and Aero-Cast listeners all the
latest news from Oshkosh (and believe us, there's gonna be some BIG
announcements, and even a few surprises. Just wait...) but now
we're going to do so much more, and do it in as complete and as
comprehensive a manner as any dedicated news network in
existence.
Over the next 14 days ("holy schniekies, that's only TWO
weeks!") we'll be introducing you to the people, both new
recruits and familiar faces, who will be bringing you EVERYTHING
AirVenture from July 23-29 -- in print, video, and audio formats.
We'll also preview the celebration at Wittman Field in the days
ahead of AirVenture's official start.
And remember... our introduction of Aero-TV is just the start.
Much like our introduction of Aero-Casting at AirVenture 2005 --
which was soon followed by our popular DAILY audio reports and
features -- shortly after the end of Oshkosh 2007 ANN will drop the
"big one." Not content to shake up our coverage of special events
like the mighty Oshkosh, ANN will broaden its DAILY Real-Time
programming, the most aggressive suite of aviation news services in
the business, to add DAILY AERO-VIDEO news reports and DAILY
features every business day starting this fall.

This is when it gets REALLY fun, everybody. Come along for the
ride, you will NOT be disappointed!
