April 21st Kicks Off Revised Schedule
Van’s Aircraft announced a small shift in their customer support this month, adding additional hours to their phone availability from April 21st onward.

Most notable is the change in their direct builder support line. Builders may call in from 10:00 to 11:00 am every morning, and 15:00 to 16:00 in the afternoons - all in PDT or PST as Van’s runs off Pacific Time. Prior hours for builder support were a little limiting for some customers, only open from 08:00 to 09:30 and 15:00 to 16:00 PST. Van’s previously warned that “we often take a large volume of support calls and want to help as many people as we can while keeping them on hold for the shortest time possible.”
As such, they advise callers to prepare everything in advance and keep questions laser-honed on the actual information needed. “Prlease prepare your questions and have any applicable plans pages in front of you, available for reference. This will help us support as many people as possible and get you back to building sooner!”
The April 21st change revises the schedule to allow for Factory Office Hours, frunning from 08:00 to 16:00 PST. That stands apart from the more technical builder support lines, but should suffice for questions, concerns, orders, and the like. Some good news has arrived for fans of a good ol’ factory tour, since Van’s will now do a daily jaunt at 13:30 PST every day. Be there or be square! There’s only one tour per day. Demonstration flights can be held following a factory tour, with all the usual weather, maintenance, & aircraft caveats permitting.
The firm said it’s part of their continuing effort to improve service across the board. “At Van’s, our top priority is delivering the best possible support to our customers—whether you’re currently building, flying, or dreaming about your next aviation adventure. To ensure responsiveness and that we meet your needs efficiently, we’re making a few changes to our phone support hours, as well as our factory tour and demo flight schedules.”
