New AL250 Flight Simulator Designed For Colleges And Flight Schools

Configurable To Represent Single- And Multi-Engine Aircraft Types

Alsim Flight Training Solutions has introduced its newest Flight Simulation Training Device designed to meet the training needs of aviation colleges, universities and flight schools.

The AL250 is an affordable flight simulator, which represents two decades of Alsim's design expertise, research and development, operational expertise and customer input. The compact AL250 is configurable as Single Engine and Multi-Engine aircraft and satisfies the FAA's Part 141 and 61 course requirements for Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Instrument and Multi-Engine flight training.

The AL250 includes Alsim's trademark Immersion Software and High Density Visual System (HDVS), which features a semicircular screen, three projectors and image distortion software offering a 250-degree, high-definition panoramic view from the cockpit is unsurpassed in realistic detail. Alsim's HDVS system provides accurate portrayal of the airport environment, including ramp, hangar and facilities, as well as enhanced weather rendering. Day and night operations include a full range of weather scenarios, including freezing conditions, wind shear and turbulence.

"We understand the unique aspects of flight training in the academic environment and are experts at bringing the flight deck into the classroom," says Alsim Sales Director, Audrey Jeffroy. "The AL250 represents the apex of our educational product evolution to date and was developed in close collaboration with our education customers and our very own flight training academy."

Alsim has a distinct advantage over competitive flight simulations, which require the customer to contact as many as six separate vendors to order parts and troubleshoot maintenance issues. In contrast, Alsim's all-inclusive control of every aspect of the AL250's design, production and support, means the customer benefits from one trusted source to resolve any software or hardware issues that may arise.
