Skytruck Rolls On In South America

Venezuelan National Guard Takes Delivery Of Its 25TH PZL M28 Skytruck

From Skytruck...

Skytruck says it's sending another M28 to the Venezuelan National Guard.

"With their large number of unimproved runways many of which are surrounded by jungle the M28 Skytrucks amazing STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) capabilities make it the ideal aircraft for the Venezuelan military," said Dave Jenkins, Skytruck Company's Director of Sales. "The aircraft can be loaded with 19 fully-outfitted troops or over 5,000 pounds of cargo and still get off the ground in under 850 feet."

The Venezuelas fleet of M28 Skytrucks are used to fill a number of roles including humanitarian relief, search and rescue, special operations, troop movement, drug interdiction, and other military missions. "With its large cabin and load carrying capabilities, the M28 is a true multi-mission aircraft, be it civilian or military," Jenkins added.

Military operators arent the only ones taking notice of the Skytrucks high level of versatility and low operating costs. Skytruck Company reports that they have received a number of very serious inquiries from operators in western Canada and Alaska. "Every dollar counts to these operators and they realize the Skytruck is the only new aircraft that combines exceptional load carrying capabilities with the safety of twin Pratt & Whitney PT6-65B turboprop engines," Jenkins said.
