AD: Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. Turboprop Engines

AD NUMBER: 2015-20-03

PRODUCT: Certain Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. (P&WC) PW120, PW121, PW121A, PW124B, PW127, PW127E, PW127F, PW127G, and PW127M turboprop engines.

ACTION: Final Rule

SUMMARY: The FAA is superseding airworthiness directive (AD) 2014-14-02 for the products listed above.

AD 2014-14-02 required removal of the O-ring seal from the fuel manifold fitting. This new AD requires replacement of the fuel nozzle and the fuel manifold flow adapter.

This AD was prompted by reports of fuel leaks at the interface between the fuel manifold and the fuel nozzle that resulted in engine fire.

The FAA is issuing this AD to correct the unsafe condition on these products.

DATES: This AD is effective November 18, 2015.
