Using a small gasoline-powered generator and redundant rotors, the Perimeter 4 and 8 can carry expensive, irreplaceable payloads without fear.
Where to go from here? Mestler says they want to specialize, "What we're really focused on is specializing this vehicle for beyond visual line of sight - that's all we're focused on doing. We've solved the endurance issue, we've solved the payload issue, now we're making sure this vehicle can operate at range safely and comply with FAA regulations."
