Enstrom Adds Phillipine Dealer To Sales Network

Beeline Helicopters Hopes To Create A Buzz

Enstrom Helicopter Corp announced a new member of its worldwide dealership network this week.  Beeline Helicopters, Inc. (BHI), a new enterprise under the BMG group of companies, recently purchased an Enstrom 480B turbine aircraft to support the marketing and operations of Enstrom aircraft in the Philippines.

The initial 480B has been delivered, and a grand opening was held in Manila announcing the new Enstrom Helicopter dealership. Tour and charter flights will immediately follow, and Beeline is nearing the completion of its Enstrom Helicopter-authorized maintenance facility. This facility will service all Enstrom helicopters in the Philippines.

"'Cost effectiveness' was the dominant factor in Beeline Helicopter’s decision process that led them to choose Enstrom," said BHI. "For new acquisition, the next lowest competitor is 25 percent more expensive than the Enstrom. No other competing helicopter has a lower direct operating cost than the Enstrom. In its class, the Enstrom compares favorably with the competition in speed, range, endurance, and comfort. In some instances the Enstrom even outperforms helicopters of a higher category."

"Internationally Enstrom has made great strides in recent years," added Enstrom President and CEO Jerry Mullins. "Enstrom was first introduced to Beeline Helicopters through David Blake, of Blake & DeJong Ltd., Enstrom Helicopter’s Managing Representative for Asia. We chose to offer Beeline the dealership because of their far sighted vision for the 480B helicopter in the Philippines. Beeline has invested in the product and the infrastructure necessary to make this venture a success. We are happy to have Beeline in the Enstrom family."

Blake & DeJong Ltd., based in Singapore, has been instrumental in the marketing of Enstrom products in Asia while developing Enstrom’s dealership and after sales support networks in individual countries throughout Asia.

Founded in 1959, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation manufactures a complete line of helicopters. The three-seat, piston-powered F28F and 280FX are popular training, sport, and light commercial aircraft. The larger turbine-powered 480B is available as a three-place advanced trainer and patrol aircraft, or as a three- to- five-place executive transport.
