Breeze Airways Selects FlightSafety For Sims

New Airline Orders Full Flight Airbus Simulators, Support

FlightSafety International has been selected by new addition to the American market, Breeze Airways to provide their Airbus A220 and Embraer E190 Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and Flight Training Devices (FTD), accompanied by maintenance of long term operation of the devices and crew training equipment.

FlightSafety has been one of the biggest names in commercial aviation training across numerous aircraft makes and models. To date, they have shipped nearly 40 E-jet full flight simulators to customers, and the initial sim to be delivered to Breeze Training Academy in 2022 will be engineered and manufactured in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Incorporating the most up-to-date software, hardware, and training fidelity, the simulators will allow Breeze to save money and minimize expensive flight hours for their pilots, an important cost break for a fledgling airline.

The sale is another feather in the cap for FlightSafety, as president and CEO Brad Thress said, “We are excited and proud to partner with Breeze, We’re committed to providing the best training and technology support to the world’s commercial airlines, and believe that our partnership with Breeze solidifies that.”

If the name sounds new to some, it’s worth noting that Breeze Airways commenced flight operations this year. Focusing on flights to 16 underserved destinations in the United States, they tout their signature “seriously nice” customer service. Founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, Breeze is making its name as a new affordable carrier offering nonstop flights between smaller airports often bypassed by legacy airlines.

With an eye towards technological advancement and high standards of customer satisfaction, the airline sees its niche in quick, pleasant travel to secondary airports around the states.
